We are dorks. I guess that’s the best way to describe ourselves. We love to laugh and act goofy, and are not afraid to make fun of ourselves. We love music, movies, and traveling. Gary has traveled all over the world; Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, Germany, Amsterdam, France, Singapore, and much more! I’ve traveled mostly in the Western Hemisphere; Jamaica and Canada, but have also lived in England with Gary and traveled to Germany.
We have two sons, which I had from my previous marriage. They are 12 and 8 years old. They are also a bunch of goofballs. We raise them with loads of snuggles and positive affirmation. They grow up knowing they can be whatever and whoever they want to be. Love and acceptance is number one in our home.
Five years ago I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Two years after that many surgeries later, I was cancer free, but unable to have anymore children. While we are looking at routes like adoption, I personally want to give my incredibly loving and amazing husband his own child. He is so excited to be a dad- even though he considers himself a father already with my children, we would love a child of his own. OUR own child together.
Gary is an Account Manager at a Logistics company in Fort Wayne. He is originally from Tilbury, England- just outside of London. He is active in sports; growing up playing soccer and cricket in England. He is the most calm, patient, and loving person I know. My children are from a previous marriage but he loves them like they are his own. I think he and my 8 year old are best friends. He is also a talented musician. He plays blues guitar so beautifully, I can listen to it all day long.
I am also a singer and musician. I have been in musicals, bands, performed in front of crowds up to 1,200 people. I am a Freelance Artist and Graphic Designer. I have two college degrees(one in nursing and one in graphic design) and am a certified Minister. I love art and anything to do with it. I paint, draw, sculpt. I can build, reupholster furniture, and tell you all you want to know about European, Russian, and American history– oh, don’t forget University of Michigan Football! I was born in Nashville, and raised in Michigan, which is my favorite state. I was also raised with all brothers. Three of them to be exact. I am the oldest, but I am currently the smallest as they tower over me now. I used to say I’m a tomboy, but I also love to do feminine things as well. I love dressing up, going to a broadway show, craft, sew, and sing Disney songs at the top of my lungs! I have so many interests and hobbies and love reading.
Above all, we love children and we want to make our family complete with one more little one. We have so much love to give.
