Renowned talk show host Andy Cohen has been a strong advocate for surrogacy for a few years. His first son, Benjamin Allen Cohen was born in February 2019 via a surrogate. Recently, on 29th April 2022, he announced the birth of his second child, Lucy Eve Cohen, on Instagram, also born via a surrogate.

When he first announced that he would become a father, he iterated that he had wanted to have a family of his own all his life.

He said that even though it had taken him longer than most to arrive at that point in his life, he could not wait for what he envisioned to be the most rewarding chapter of his life yet.

Cohen expressed immense gratitude for the surrogate who carried and birthed his newborn daughter Lucy.

Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton

In her caption, she revealed that the couple had the baby through surrogacy and that they have been praying while sitting on the magnificent secret for months on end.

Bailon had previously discussed the difficulties she and her husband experienced when trying to conceive, and that trying to get pregnant wasn’t what she thought it would be.

The talk-show guru admitted to thinking it would happen easily for her and it just did not pan out the way she thought.

In her Instagram caption, Bailon thanked her loved ones and her ‘angel surrogate’ who stood with the couple for over 5 years on the journey to parenthood.

She closed out her remarks by heartily joking that she and her husband Houghton have never been happier to lose sleep.

Speaking to her millions of followers on social media, Heard revealed that some years ago she decided to have a child on her terms. She emphasized that she hoped society arrives at a point where it is considered normal to not have to get married to have a child.

While admitting that part of her wanted to uphold some privacy in her life, her line of work compelled her to take control of the narrative to avoid ceaseless speculation.

Heard named her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard, in honor of her late mother and commented that the child was the beginning of the rest of her life.
